New From the Lab!
Dr. Schroer has created a new website for Principals, and other educators to analyze their data. Soon to come, a whole suite of data analysis products for you to easily transform your data into useable information that will help guide your instruction.
Click on the button below to open Vizit and transform your data!
Using Vizit
Vizit helps school leaders turn raw assessment data into clear, grade-level visuals in just a few clicks.
Prepare your data file
See below for the example file as a template.
Your file should be in CSV or Excel (.xlsx) format.
Each row = one student.
Each column = something meaningful (e.g., Grade Level, Math Scale Score, Reading/ELA Scale Score, subscores like Operations & Algebraic Thinking).
Upload and choose your settings
Select your grouping column (for example, Grade Level).
Select one or more score columns (overall scale scores and/or subscores).
Vizit calculates average scores by grade and displays them as a heatmap.
Interpret and download
Darker cells indicate relative strengths; lighter cells highlight areas for support.
Hover to see values or read the numbers in each cell.
Download the chart as a .png image and export grade-level summary tables as Excel for use in leadership meetings and data teams.
